Welcome to A-Fis. By using A-Fis, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
A-Fis requires specific permissions and data to provide its core features. We collect and use this data strictly for the application's functionality.
A-Fis requires access to your device's camera and photo gallery to capture and upload images of your receipts. These images are securely transmitted to our backend servers to perform Optical Character Recognition (OCR). This allows the app to automatically extract receipt information such as amounts, dates, and taxes. We do not access your images without your action and do not use them for any other purpose.
Captured receipt images may also be stored securely within the application's private storage on your device to improve performance and allow offline access. These files are not accessible by other applications and are automatically removed if the app is uninstalled.
A-Fis collects location data to enable nearby business suggestions and to tag the precise location of your expenses. This data is only accessed while you are actively using the app. We do not track or collect location data in the background.
We collect basic information, such as your email address, solely for account creation, login, and secure session management.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal, location, or image data with third parties for advertising or marketing. Your data is only shared with our authorized backend servers to provide the necessary features of the app (for example, OCR processing). All data is transmitted securely over HTTPS/TLS protocols.
Your data is retained only as long as your account is active.
Data Deletion Policy:
You can delete your account and associated data directly within the A-Fis mobile application.
To delete your account:
After your deletion request, your account is deactivated and associated data is permanently deleted within a reasonable period.
Some data may be retained for a limited period if required for legal or security purposes. After that, it is deleted or anonymized.
A-Fis may use third-party services such as Google APIs (for example, Google Maps and Places API) to provide location-based features. These services may collect and process data according to their own privacy policies.
In some cases, A-Fis may redirect users to third-party communication services such as WhatsApp for support purposes. A pre-filled message may be provided to assist users, and it is sent only if the user chooses to proceed. A-Fis does not store or use WhatsApp communication content for advertising or marketing purposes.
